The Showtec Base Plate for EventLITE is very thin and can therefore be covered beneath tablecloth. It can be used to create a more stable base for all Showtec EventLITE models. The magnets at the base of the EventLITE will pull firmly to the metal base plate. This could be required in windy outdoor locations or when using a long distance pole.
